LESLA Alliance is built on shared stories, shared commitment and a shared belief in strengthening community life in Long Eaton. Becoming a supporter is one of the ways people choose to contribute to our work and help us continue delivering charitable activities.
Support is voluntary and open to anyone who wishes to be involved.
Becoming a supporter of LESLA Alliance is a way to:
• Contribute financially to help sustain our charitable activities
• Stay connected to our events, educational programmes and volunteering opportunities
• Demonstrate support for the values and aims of LESLA Alliance
Supporter contributions are treated as donations and help us deliver education, promote civic participation and provide proportionate support within the Long Eaton community.
Supporters do not hold voting rights or legal membership of the organisation.

Support is open to anyone who wishes to contribute to our charitable work in Long Eaton.

Annual Business Support is a voluntary contribution that helps sustain our educational programmes, volunteering activity and proportionate community support within Long Eaton.
Business supporters do not hold voting rights or legal membership of the organisation.
Event Sponsorship Opportunities
Businesses may also choose to sponsor specific events or initiatives, such as educational heritage events, community gatherings or our annual Windrush Gala.
Sponsorship contributions directly support the delivery of our charitable activities and help ensure events remain accessible to the community.
Any recognition provided to sponsors is proportionate and aligned with our charitable aims.

Supporter contributions are treated as voluntary donations and help sustain LESLA Alliance’s charitable activities.
Funds raised through supporter contributions and fundraising support our educational programmes, volunteering initiatives and Community Support Fund, which provides proportionate and short-term assistance to individuals experiencing hardship within Long Eaton.
All funds are applied in furtherance of our charitable aims and overseen by the trustees.

Supporters may be invited to take part in surveys, feedback activities and listening sessions. These opportunities allow individuals to share ideas, experiences and perspectives that help inform the development of future activities.
While trustees retain overall responsibility for decision-making, supporter feedback plays an important role in shaping and strengthening our charitable work.

Supporters receive regular newsletters and updates about LESLA Alliance’s activities, events and community impact.
They may also be invited to attend community briefings or supporter updates to stay informed about our educational programmes, volunteering opportunities and charitable initiatives.

Supporters may receive:
• Early access to ticketed events
• Priority booking opportunities
• Occasional discounted ticket rates for selected events
Any discounted rates are offered as a gesture of appreciation for voluntary support and are proportionate to the level of contribution. Supporter contributions remain voluntary donations and are separate from event ticket purchases.
All event income supports LESLA Alliance’s charitable aims within Long Eaton.

Participation in our activities and events is open to everyone, regardless of supporter status. All charitable activities are accessible to the community whether or not you choose to become a supporter.
Becoming a supporter is simply a voluntary way to contribute financially to LESLA Alliance’s charitable work in Long Eaton.
